WHAT IS OUR SMALLEST CAKE ORDER AND SERVING PORTION?

​

Our smallest cake order is 5" round cake. The price for our customized cakes starts from $98 and it can feed up to 8 - 16 pax.

Our 5” cakes are signature taller cakes, which are about 10 - 12cm tall.

SERVING PORTION
This is just a rough guide as the actual serving portion will depend on how big piece the cake is cut into. The bigger the cake is being cut, the lesser people can enjoy the cake!

 

Single tier cake
5'' round cake: 8 - 16 pax
7'' round cake: 12 pax – 24 pax

8'' round cake: 15 pax – 30 pax

10” round cake: 25 pax – 50 pax

 

2 tier cake
4'' round over 7'' round: Up to 40 pax
5'' round over 8'' round: Up to 50 pax
7'' round over 10'' round: Up to 75 pax

HOW MUCH IS A TYPICAL CUSTOMISED CAKE?

​

The price for customized single-tier 5” cake starts from $98.

Our customized double-tier cake (7” bottom and 5” top), start from $198 onwards and it can feed up to 40 pax.

The final price will depend on the level of complexity of the cake design (if 2D or 3D fondant figurines are required) and the size of the cake.
 

HOW MANY DAYS IN ADVANCE SHOULD I CONFIRM MY ORDER?

At least 14 days in advance for cupcakes orders
At least 10 days in advance for cake orders
At least 20 days in advance for dessert table orders

​

If you have any urgent cake request, you may also WA 96456632 to check if we are available to squeeze in your order. Take note that there will be a sub-charge of $15, for urgent orders that is less than 10 days before collection date, subject to availability.

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT POLICY AT BAKE MAMA?

​

Kindly note that your order is not confirmed until the full payment is received. You will receive a confirmation message from us stating the collection date/ time/ details once it is confirmed.

​

Kindly note that it takes time to prepare for each cake’s ingredients and hand-make your fondant décor from scratch, hence if payment is not received at least 10 days before the actual date of the cake collection, the order will be not be processed.

​

Enquiring the date of availability do not guarantee your order confirmation. Should any of the dates are fully booked, any additional orders that are not confirmed will be rejected.

​

Consumable goods received are non-returnable or refundable.

​

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

​

Please note that cancellation charges apply when you order, paid and decided to cancel order:

​

Cancel more than 10 days before collection: 30% of total cake price (Refund 70%)

Cancel less than 10 days before collection: 50% of total cake price (Refund 50%)

Cancel less than 4 days before collection: 100% of total cake price (Strictly no refund)

​

Note: Delivery cancellation is at $10 (3 days before delivery date).

          No cancellation charges if notified 4 days in advance.

For all corporate orders, strictly NO CANCELLATION after quotation signed.

HOW DO I MAKE A CAKE/ DESSERT TABLE BRIEF?

​

To enquire/order, you can send us your cake/ dessert table brief to bakemamasg@gmail.com or WhatsApp 96456632.

Kindly include the following information when submitting the brief:

1. Theme of the party

2. Date of Party
3. Number of Pax your cake/ dessert table is catered for

4. Birthday Boy/Girl’s preferred name and age

Our cake designer will get back to you with a sketch based on your brief/ cake reference and submit a quotation for your approval.

 

Kindly note that the sketch is a black and white sketch with color indications, there will be detailed descriptions on each quotation submitted. The designer will work on 1- max 2 changes to your cake sketch before confirmation. Note that final cake look will be at least 90% close to the sketched cake drawing. There will be some level of discrepancy in terms of colors/style.

 

We appreciate ethical way of doing business, hence if you do not have the intention to confirm the order with us, please do not use/send our cake sketch to another baker. Thank you.

CAN I SEND IN A GOOGLED IMAGE FOR YOUR DESIGNER TO REPLICATE EXACTLY THE SAME CAKE?

​

Kindly note that our fondant artist is not a 3D printer and will not be able to replicate exactly the same cake as your cake reference. If you are unsure and uncomfortable to go ahead with the sketch from our cake designer, please do not proceed.

​

Our team has own style of cake designs and we do not wish to replicate other baker’s works blindly. If you would like a particular design from the other baker, you may send in the cake image to our designer as a reference. However, the final cake look will be based on the approved sketch from the designer, not the reference sent. Alternatively, you may go to the baker who bakes the reference cake directly.

HOW DO I CONFIRM THE ORDER?

​

Full payment is required to confirm your order. You may do an internet bank transfer (Paynow/ PayLah) to POSB saving account or ATM transfer. Once you have made payment, please inform us so that we can confirm receipt of your transfer and confirm your order.

Please note that your order will not be processed until full payment is received.

DO WE PROVIDE DELIVERY?

​

We outsourced delivery to trusted cake delivery vendors. Delivery is charged at $30 to most location in Singapore. An additional charge might apply for locations in Sentosa, distant locations, late night, early morning or public holiday and eve of public holiday deliveries.

Single Tier Cake/ 12 – 24 cupcakes: $30

2-Tier Cake/ 36 – 48 cupcakes: $40

3-Tier Cake/ 60 cupcakes & above: $50

Tag-on cupcakes/ other dessert item: Additional $10 per item (Please enquire for more accurate quotation)

Delivery timing slots are between 10am – 7pm daily, depending on location and availability.

​

IF I WANT TO SELF COLLECT THE CAKE, WHERE IS THE COLLECTION POINT?

​

Yes, you may collect the cake at Pasir Ris (Near Tampines IKEA) at your preferred timing between 11am – 8pm.

​

HOW DO I STORE THE CAKES OR CUPCAKES?

​

For butter cream/ fondant covered cakes/cupcakes, please place in air-conditioned room. It is not necessary to put in the fridge or chiller. Please avoid putting the cake/ cupcakes out in the room temperature and or out in the open under sunlight.

​

For fresh cream covered cakes, please place them in the fridge (chiller) until serving due to the hot humid Singapore weather. It can only stay out of chiller for approx.. 30 mins.

​

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE CAKES / CUPCAKES?

​

All Bake Mama’s cakes / cupcakes are baked from scratch close to collection date without preservatives.

If you are not able to finish the cakes / cupcakes, please keep it in the chiller and consume them within the next 3 days.
